What is Stott Pilates?
The STOTT PILATES system is an anatomically based approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s. It incorporates modern exercise science and rehabilitation principles to improve core strength and balance the muscles around the joints to improve the way your body functions, looks and feels. Focus is placed on effective breathing patterns and precision and control of all movements for heightened body awareness.

What do people say about us?
After a difficult twin pregnancy, I can easily say pilates has been the greatest factor in regaining my health and fitness. Not only have I seen a huge improvement in my flexibility and balance but my core and overall strength have never been better! The classes are fantastic as all the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and motivating. I’m so happy that I found Vitalcore Fitness Pilates!
Pilates has given me amazing core strength and balance which I feel are life-saving. Most of the aches and pains caused by the outdoor sports are now gone. I love how the sessions start with warm ups then progresses for a challenge. The instructor is able to give good attention to the class as it is geared towards small group training. Most important to me are the results I see with each new Pilates exercise introduced using props.
Pilates has helped me to be almost pain free after many years. It has strengthened my core that I can walk for an hour now whereas before I couldn’t walk even around my house. The instructor is knowledgeable and gives the right program to work on. I feel better than I have in years.
Pilates has tremendously improved our flexibility, strength and balance so much that we are more aware of good movement and better posture. Myra’s deep knowledge of rehabilitation allows instant modification as needed specially when we have been injured prior to coming to class. We always feel better during and after having a Pilates session.
