- Clients are to use the entrance beside Pizza Hut to go upstairs to the second floor. After client session, use the door beside Billiards as exit to go downstairs back to the parking area. Direction arrows have been installed to guide proper flow. The hall way will be marked for safe distancing so that if a client(s) come early, they will have to wait outside in the hall way allowing the current participants to leave the studio premises first before entering.
- The Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General issued an order requiring everyone to wear masks in many indoor settings as well as common areas.
- The number of clients allowed into the facility at any one time for group reformer class is max of 2 participants. The reformers were moved so that there is sufficient space to allow working out two meters apart.
- Sessions will be only now 50 minutes to allow sufficient time to clean and disinfect equipment, props and other surfaces touched and used during workout session.
- Signs will be posted at the outside and inside entrance to notify all clients that they should not enter if they have the symptoms of COVID-19. Additional signs to be posted are for awareness of the physical distancing requirements, enhanced sanitation procedures.
- The instructors will do a prescreening of clients to ask some basic precautionary questions for symptoms. Any client who answers yes to either of the questions above will be asked to go home. Instructor will mark you as sick and your session will not be charged. Safety signs are posted for reminders.
- We encourage the use of contactless payment methods done via credit card or Etransfer.
- Hand sanitizers, disposable gloves, paper towels, tissues, alcohol is provided for client and instructor use. We encourage clients to properly wash their hands before and after their programs.
- As gyms and fitness centers are to verify that the disinfectant(s) they use are effective against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), we researched the various brands currently being used by the studio. Lysol disinfectant, Clorox Bleach disinfectants are among the approved products of which we are using to spray mat and equipment. The cleaners use bleach/water; soap and vinegar for floors, walls and mirrors.
- Vitalcore has been consistently practicing provision of disinfectant wipes, spray bottles, paper towels for cleaning and will continue to do so.
- Clients are encouraged to conduct their workout and exit the facility without unnecessary delay. Please avoid lingering inside the studio after sessions for small talks and be mindful that there may be clients cuing outside the hallway waiting their turn to enter studio for their timely session. This will also minimize tendency to clutter the front desk area.
- Items such as candies, magazines, and complimentary phone charges are not allowed in front desk area.
- The studio provides lined waste bin for its clients to dispose of used sanitizing wipes and other safety equipment, such as masks and gloves, when entering and exiting the facility.
- Clients are encouraged to arrive at studio in workout clothes and to avoid as much as possible using washrooms to change. If you have to use the washroom please bring disinfectant spray or wipes to use after. Frequent hand washing is desired before and after workout. No hand shaking. The Instructors will use mask when teaching and will avoid tactile cuing as much as possible.
- No food inside the studio only personal water bottles are allowed.
- Clients and instructors are required to wipe down equipment before and after every use. Adequate cleaning supply is provided and garbage bin for disposing used materials. Rule is whatever equipment, props, mats used and touched should be properly cleaned.
- Clients are encouraged to bring their own gear for personal use whenever practical to reduce sharing of props. This may include items such as yoga mats, blocks, gloves, weight belts, wrist or ankle guards.
- Socks are now required when working out with the Reformer, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Mat for hygiene purposes.
